Skill Development Mission Forms International Employment Cell for Global Job Opportunities

Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission sets up a dedicated international cell to train local youth and connect them transparently with global employers across major sectors.

In a significant push toward placing local talent in the global job market, the Skill Development Mission has officially established an International Employment Cell. This dedicated body is tasked with tracking international job openings, aligning candidate skills with overseas corporate demands, and facilitating a transparent recruitment process for trained youth.

The newly created cell will operate under the leadership of Assistant Director Dr. M.K. Singh as Chairman and Assistant Manager Vijay Namdev as the Nodal Officer.

Key Initiatives and Operations

The International Employment Cell will execute a structured, multi-agency approach to maximize overseas placements:

Inter-Agency Collaboration: The cell will partner directly with Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)-registered recruiting agents, the Directorate of Employment's Mission Rozgar, and Invest UP to assess global demand for skilled manpower.

Bi-Weekly Coordination: Meetings will take place every 15 days with the Mission Rozgar Cell to evaluate emerging labor demands across various countries and sectors.

Proactive Skill Mapping: Future job trends will be analyzed in advance to launch tailored, demand-driven training programs.

Priority Placement: Youth who have completed training under the Skill Development Mission but remain unemployed will receive first priority for international job opportunities.
